As you can see the Aruba diva tree is a very unique tree! So it is no surprise that the bride and groom wanted this tree on their invitations and stationery for their destination wedding in Aruba! After I create the custom hand-painted invite design the invitation and matching stationery becomes available for new clients to also enjoy. Shown at the very top, is the invite with a vellum overlay. The second photo is the actual painting I truly enjoyed creating.

Hot trend in design!

Wow. What a QUICK growing trend. Hand-drawn lettering that is sketched then colored in. Frankly, I think Starbucks started this. I should know, Mindi and I are there at least twice a week. At any rate, it is cool and fun. Is it for a wedding invite? Maybe if you are a teacher or getting married in a school classroom. I would use this font on laid back, fun ads or a children's party invite for sure. A bit like the recent BIRD craze. I think hand-drawn lettering will be here to stay, for a REEEEAAAAAAL long time!
